Scientists from the state of Maryland have created a synthetic DNA

news_13543_1The scientists Craig Venter Institute (J. Craig Venter Institute) have created the largest to date, an artificial DNA structure. This work brings humanity one step closer to creating a fully synthetic organism. This achievement opens up a whole range of possibilities: from the creation of innovative products and control of dangerous pathogens before ( this must not be forgotten, too ), new types of biological weapons. After creating the DNA, scientists have homologous recombination - a process that helps cells to repair damaged chromosomes - in brewer's yeast.

Scientists deny the risk of work related to the emergence of synthetic life. According to Craig Venter, president and founder of the Institute, employees from all liability approach to his duties, and there is absolutely no reason to worry.
